I absolutely love nut butters - like love, love nut butters. So whenever I create dessert recipes, I love to incorporate them in any way I can because they add so many elements to the dish (apart from nuttiness, of course). In this very easy blondies recipe, both the peanut butter and almond butter make the bars creamy, indulgent, decadent - they are the perfect complement to the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Add the nut butters together with some eggs, maple syrup or honey if you prefer, baking powder, and chocolate chips and you have a super simple recipe that takes 5 minutes to mix and 25 minutes to bake. As far as equipment goes, all you need is one bowl, a mixing spatula, parchment paper, and a baking dish!
